I have been a programmer since the late '90s where I got my first opportunity working on lab calibration software that automated compression and tensile testing equipment, recorded and analyzed test data with graphing. During this time I was going to school and working towards two AS degrees for Network Management and Computer Programming. I had planned on being a network administrator, but I discovered I had a real interest for programming as well.

In 2004 I started working as a freelancer providing network, server and desktop support as well as business software development services with VB6 and Microsoft Access Database to small businesses. Eventually I moved on to developing with Alpha5 software, a rapid application development platform and relational database management system similar to FoxPro. During these years I saw that development was moving more from the desktop to the Web and I took the time to return to school and acquire some continuing education in the basics of Web development with HTML, CSS and JavaScript. I used this knowledge along with Alpha5's Web development capabilities to build for a client a successful web-based medical claims management application.

By 2015 I left contracting and started working as a fullstack WINS (Windows Server, IIS, ASP.NET, VB.Net, Web Forms and MS SQL) web developer. For three years I worked as a sole developer on developing and maintaining a business intranet portal application to automate business tasks and combine data interfaces for multiple departments within the company.

My main passion is programming and creating solutions that bring benefits to others. I gain a real sense of satisfaction when I see someone using something I developed. When I'm not working I enjoy PC gaming, reading and working on my own projects. I'm into anything Star Wars, Marvel or fantasy/Sci-Fi in general.
